Getting ready for Halloween!
I am making more this weekend I have a couple other designs I am working on.
I want to make a Frankenstein!
I made these narwhal cookies for a cutie who wanted Kawaii Narwhal cookies for her birthday! I am going to have to make them again very soon!
I didnt know about the Kawaii narwhal until I saw a phone cover and asked what it was, now I know! They are actually really cute, unicorn of the sea! Especially the Kawaii Narwhal. Love them!
I made these cookies for my annual Camp Reunion in Lake Tahoe at Rustic Cottages, in Tahoe Vista. A very cute lodge with many large cabins and also several tiny cabins! We love it there! It’s not right on the beach, but it’s right across the street from one of the best beaches, and close to grocery stores, restaurants, and the local library!
My aunt asked me to bring crawdad cookies after we got the idea from a young 15 year old. We met her The Cameron Park Golf Course. She was telling me about her Cakes for Crohn’s business which she made a Crawdad cake for a friend. My uncle told me to make a cake, but alas he got cookies!
When I think of Lake Tahoe, is beautiful water, which you gaze across and see snow capped mountains, and mountains on all side.
I wanted to do these cookies for some time, and so it was extra fun to do them and give them to my aunt who is a great artist! My mom would have loved these cookies also! It is her recipe after all, so of course she would love the cookies! Plus she was also a great artist!
This paint palette was made from the polar bear cookie! I cut off the head, and evened out the feet and added a hole for the artists palette. The paint brushes I used my carrot cookie cutter, and the top part of the carrot was the bottom part of the paint brush! I trimmed the carrot edges to make them more like a paint brush, they are abstract.
Not like these paint brush cookies…….
These are gorgeous! They look so real!
An entirely different style Sweetapolita does wonderful stuff! I’ve seen many wonderful creations from her site.
