Paint Palettes and Paintbrushes

I wanted to do these cookies for some time, and so it was extra fun to do them and give them to my aunt who is a great artist!  My mom would have loved these cookies also!  It is her recipe after all, so of course she would love the cookies!  Plus she was also a great artist!

Perfect cookie for the artist!

This paint palette was made from the polar bear cookie!  I cut off the head, and evened out the feet and added a hole for the artists palette.  The paint brushes I used my carrot cookie cutter, and the top part of the carrot was the bottom part of the paint brush!  I trimmed the carrot edges to make them more like a paint brush, they are abstract.

Not like these paint brush cookies…….

These are gorgeous! They look so real!

Vacation Sugar Cookies

Martini, Flip Flop, and Pineapple Decorated Sugar Cookies

Martini’s, Palm Trees, Flip Flops, Pineapples, and Sunglasses.

Martini decorated sugar cookies for the martini lover!

Happy Friday!  Martini’s on me!  Time to relax for the weekend, make some drinks put on the flip flops and it’s California so of course we are all sitting under palm trees.

I made these for my uncles birthday in July.  I think this is actually a small margarita glass but I made it into the martini.

He likes the cookies but his grandchildren enjoy them just as much if not more! Truthfully the whole family enjoys the cookies, except maybe one or two people who may not like the sugar cookies.   I never knew a kid that refused one.

Birthday Pool Party Sugar Cookies

Happy National Ice Cream Day!

I made these cookies for a wonderful young girls birthday party!  There were ice cream cones, and cupcakes and they were enjoyed pool side!  I also made the sunglasses, and crowns.  They were fun!  I especially loved doing the ice cream cones, and particularly the mint chip.  My favorite!
