Martini, Flip Flop, and Pineapple Decorated Sugar Cookies

Martini’s, Palm Trees, Flip Flops, Pineapples, and Sunglasses.

Martini decorated sugar cookies for the martini lover!

Happy Friday!  Martini’s on me!  Time to relax for the weekend, make some drinks put on the flip flops and it’s California so of course we are all sitting under palm trees.

I made these for my uncles birthday in July.  I think this is actually a small margarita glass but I made it into the martini.

He likes the cookies but his grandchildren enjoy them just as much if not more! Truthfully the whole family enjoys the cookies, except maybe one or two people who may not like the sugar cookies.   I never knew a kid that refused one.

One sugar cookie decorated like a palm tree brown on the trunk with royal icicing highlights and then two coconuts and the palms of the palms tree and royal icing outling them.

The flip flops are fun, and easy to do also.  The hibiscus flower I learned from Sweet Sugar Belles site, as also a bunch of other techniques.  She has inspired many other bakers as myself.

These sugar cookies were for a family baby Celebration.

These cookies were so much fun to do! They were for a dear family friend, who is having her first baby!  The happy couple are expecting a boy and some of her family members made very adorable tye dye onesies.  This was the theme of the sugar cookies.

Tye Dye Baby Onesie

These decorated sugar cookies are also special because I didn’t do them alone, my cousins and their kids help decorate also.  They really had some of the cutest ideas too!  That is one of the reasons I love to do cookies and art with kids!

Cowboy Decorated Sugar Cookies made for 4th of July.

I loved making these cowboy boot decorated sugar cookies over the 4th of July this past year.  We have a local rodeo and who doesn’t love cowboy boots in northern California?

I made some of them red, white and blue, with brown boot base.  One of my favorites is the cowhide boot.  The paisley pattern was also fun to test out.
